Blue Harvest is an outsourced alternative to premium seafood producers managing their sales and marketing function internally.
Our core business is to maximise the economic return for our clients products.
Our clients are all "best in class" producers of raw product; prawns, mussels, finfish etc but this alone, is not enough to guarantee them market access beyond the traditional trading market, characterised by fluctuating supply, demand and quality.
When we take on a new clients product we start by working from the plate to the water, with retailers, chefs and consumers to create value to them for our clients products.
We then work from Water to Plate, with the producer, proccessor, wholesaler and distributor to implement market based solutions that create value for identified markets.
Success is when the markets starts asking for our clients products by name generating "pull through" demand.
Product Procurement
Blue Harvest can manage the order procurement process for clients who want more control over the seafood they buy than simply purchasing what seafood is available from regional wholesalers.
Our clients tend to be large retailers, food distributors or catering companies who benefit from having a supply relationship extended beyond their seafood supplier back to the producer. Blue Harvest can facilitate and manage this process.
